LUCIA KELLO

Lucia Kello is an attorney at Certain & Zilberg dedicated to advocating for the rights of survivors of trauma and sexual violence, as well as injured victims of negligence. Lucia Kello holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College and a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. Her dedication to providing support to survivors of sexual assault started in college where she was an ambassador to SMART (Sexual Misconduct and Assault Reform Taskforce). Through her time in law school Ms. Kello expanded her interests in advocacy to include victims of trauma, civil rights abuses and discrimination, advocating for survivors of domestic violence as a student attorney with New York Legal Assistance Group’s Domestic Violence Clinic, assisting in the representation of victims of civil rights violations within the child welfare system, and working with victims of employment discrimination. She also served as President of the Public Interest Law Students Association and as Associate Articles Editor of the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development.

Ms. Kello is a valued member of the Certain & Zilberg litigation team known for both her compassionate approach and zealous advocacy. Lucia Kello focuses her practice on litigating matters on behalf of those who have suffered as a result of sexual abuse, defective products, and personal injury.
