Anetta Sookhdeo is a graduate of the City University of New York School of Law. During law school Ms. Sookhdeo received the Rodney Pulliam Memorial Scholarship, interned at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office and served as an extern to the Honorable Analisa Torres, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York. Before obtaining her law degree Anetta earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Hunter College. While attending college Anetta also competed as a member of Hunter’s fencing team.
Upon graduation from Law School in 2014, Anetta joined the City of New York’s Administration for Children’s Services where she devoted her advocacy to fighting for the rights, health and safety of at risk children.
Since joining Certain & Zilberg, Ms. Sookhdeo has become a valued and passionate member of our litigation team. Ms. Sookhdeo devotes her practice to litigating matters on behalf of those who have suffered as a result of defective products, personal injury, police misconduct, discrimination and other civil rights matters. Anetta Sookhdeo is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York.
